Skin Tags

Skin tags, also known as acrochordons, are benign, flesh colored skin growths that look like pieces of hanging skin and most often develop on the neck, underarms, eyelids, groin and under the breasts often as a result of clothing or jewelry rubbing against the skin.

While skin tags are not cancerous and don’t cause problems unless they are continuously irritated, many people choose to have them removed for cosmetic purposes. There are several different ways to effectively remove skin tags, including freezing, burning and removing with scissors. If you have skin tags, schedule a consultation with Dr. Adam Nabatian for evaluation and treatment.
