Earlobe Repair

Earlobe repair is a minor and effective surgery to restore appealing earlobe shape, framing your face attractively. A torn or stretched earlobe is one of the most common aesthetic deformities of the ear. They commonly occur due to wearing heavy earrings or years of wearing pierced earrings. A torn or elongated earlobe also can commonly occur due to trauma (such as a baby yanking on an earring). Wearing gauges or plugs also stretch out the earlobe.

Earlobe repair can restore the earlobe to its original shape and size. The process involves locally anesthetizing the earlobe in our outpatient office, removing the damaged skin, and reshaping the tissue to restore the natural appearance of the earlobe. The earlobe can be re-pierced about 2 - 3 months after the surgery.
